Recycling Process "How it's done Hunter style" Empty Recycling Process "How it's done Hunter style"

"I hope you've had a good lunch. Onto learning how to use an EVS droid to recycle a facility. This will serve as a general example of how the recycling process works, and this type of recycling covers most situations. Even if you can recycle space stations and ships, there are small differences to do that and when you know how to munch a facility you are prepared to munch almost anything else."

"I'll show you some pictures to show you the process step by step..." he said as yet another chunk of lecture notes appeared on your screen.

Position yourself in any square adjacent to the facility you wish to recycle.

In this image, our location is the green ship icon. Our recycling range is everything adjacent to us, which includes the blue box and the three fountains in the purple box.
Board your EVS droid and enter the cockpit. I will assume you are hauling multiple EVS droids in a bulk freighter, which is not uncommon. So, we need to unload our EVS droids. From the standard vehicle controls screen, click on the “Vehicles” button, outlined here in yellow:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You will see a menu showing the vehicles currently docked in your ship:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Select the first three (because there are three facilities we can recycle from our current position) and click the “Unload” button.

You will then see a confirmation message showing that the selected vehicles were unloaded:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Now, we will room travel to transfer from the freighter to the EVS droids. Click the “Room Travel” button on the right hand menu in the “Control” group:

Clicking this will bring you to the room travel screen, showing that you are in the cockpit of the freighter. To exit the freighter, click one square to the right of the cockpit to enter the entrance area:

Then click the “Board” button to the right:

You will then be given a selection of entities you can board:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In this case, we will board the EVS droid "KCV Bride of Scary Sam". The board button is outlined here in yellow. After this, you can enter the cockpit by clicking the “Cockpit” button on the left side of the screen:
       http://academy.new-republic.org.uk/images/Civil/Recycling/fig9.png
Click the “Action” button from the vehicle’s cockpit view:
       http://academy.new-republic.org.uk/images/Civil/Recycling/fig10.png
       Click the “Recycling” button:
       Image
You will see a list of facilities that you can recycle from your current position. Click the “Recycle” button for the facility you want to recycle:
       http://academy.new-republic.org.uk/images/Civil/Recycling/fig11.png

Here, we will recycle the facility at the top of the list. Notice that you can see, underlined here with blue, the cost of recycling the facility as well as the time required to perform the operation. You will then get the confirmation dialog:
       http://academy.new-republic.org.uk/images/Civil/Recycling/fig12.png

You can see here, underlined in blue, the name of the facility you are recycling, the time remaining, underlined in green, and the abort button, outlined in red. DO NOT abort a recycling operation without specific instructions to do so. Aborting the operation unnecessarily will mean that the cost to recycle the facility must be paid again in order to resume. Although the cost of recycling a fountain is relatively small, some facilities require several thousand credits to recycle.
At this point, you can board the rest of your EVS droids in turn as necessary by using the room travel interface to recycle the rest of the facilities.
Once the operation is complete, dock your EVS droids and continue to your next assignment.
Docking an EVS droid can be done from the travel menu, access through the cockpit screen:

Click the “Dock” button on the right, and then simply click the “Dock In” button next to the entity in which you would like to dock the EVS droid:

Hunter cleared his throat and spoke:
"We have seen how to recycle a facility with the EVS droid, which - I remember - is a ground vehicle. We are not going to see how to use a ship or how to recycle space stations or how to use the Recycling Plants, as I have already told you before. Recycling is fun, and the quicker you start doing that the quicker you get the hang of it. If and when there will be significant differences in the several tasks you'll be sure that we'll provide you with more detailed information."

Hunter looked at the students, then at the recycling around him, and for a brief moment he seemed deeply absorbed in his thoughts.

"Enough said, I don't want to fill your brains with too much information. You need to digest your lunch and all this theory. Just try not to mix up the two processes, even if there are some analogies, they are quite different things." The junk droid activated some blinking lights and the teacher continued:

"Before you are dismissed, these are the recapped basic steps to keep in mind:

Position yourself adjacent to the facility your want to recycle.
Board your recycling vehicle and enter the cockpit
       Click the “Actions” button
       Click the “Recycling” button
Click the “Recycle” button next to the facility you want to recycle
Once the operation is complete, dock your EVS droids and continue to the next assignment

As Hunter finished, he deftly avoided a junk droid and made his way back to the pristine Skysprite he had flown to the meeting spot. You then turned to look at the scratched up Wrecker which would act as your shuttle, sighing as you prepared to head back.
