If a road is accidentally placed in the wrong square, it doesn't matter because they cost no credits or RMs to build. To delete a road go to Production > Facility Construction > Roads.

Then, you will see a drop-down menu, select the coordinates of the road grid you want to delete, select and delete it. You can also add roads using the other drop-down menu in the same way. Note: You must be in the same faction as the faction whom owns the city in order to delete roads.
