Health and Death Empty Health and Death

"We'll now be discussing your health and how you can die. Remember that once you are dead you can no longer give or receive care - as is the case with our Hot friend here. In general, health can be broken down into phases..."

"With those phases in mind, the obvious question then becomes, 'how can I die?' Well... there are a couple ways."

    How can you die?

*Characters with XP level 1 are purged after 9 months of inactivity.
*Aborting a hyperspace jump and emerging from hyperspace directly into a star.
*Flying directly into a sun or through a black hole.
       *Being executed.
*Your HP falls to -10 or below

Phoenix paused, and pulled a sheet over the corpse in front of him before moving over to a desk area, "Right then, so for a little summing up of consequences that degrees of injury have on abilities..."

*At zero, you drop into unconsciousness, and at -10, you are dead.
*At zero, your ability to perform actions is severed, but you can have healing done until you are at -10.
*At -11, the only interaction you'll have with others is the looting of your body.

"It is important to remember the -10 limit is for all players, regardless of their HP. You can be a Wookiee or Barabel with 200 HPs, or an Alderaanian with 70HPs but the moment you hit -10 you will die. Unconsciousness is curable, but only by immersion in a bacta tank. Natural healing will not get you back on your feet if you have 0 or fewer HPs.

If for any reason you find yourself outside your ship, and you notice you've begun to lose HP you should immediately evacuate to a safe space so that you may don the proper safety gear. The atmosphere in ships, vehicles, and cities is safe to breathe so they should always be tagged as potential evacuation spots. Once you are inside, and safe from environmental hazards check for any poisoning which may have occurred. If you find yourself steadily losing HP from poisoning you should immediately inform your leader or any leader on irc or ingame and take an antidote. Even better, never leave your ship unprepared and you'll never have to worry about it."
