1) go through initial inquiry process with relevant Medical faction and complete ordering forms and send off.
2) once initial assessment and all forms signed are agreed you will be contacted via DM by the Doctor / Doctors in charge and they will instruct you of the procedure you will undergo and where it will be done , plus give any access you need. you will be giving the medical Station co-ords at this stage. *NOTE* DO NOT PAY AT THIS STAGE !! The procedure gets charged at a later stage.
3) Arrive at Station location and remove ALL equipment from your fit-out slots.
4) Enter the Operation room where you will find: [1] the Doctor present [2] a number of NPC Medical assistants [3] your Cybernetic implant you choose .
5) At this stage , go to your Equipment tab and apply the Cybernetic implant into a fitment slot , Click & drag to a blue highlighted square showing where you can fit Cybernetic ( this part is the same as any other fitment of items )
6) Next , go to Actions tab > Cybernetic > from there , it is a small read through & warning process of the dangers of a failed operation . If you wish to continue just proceed on through and action. Choose the Cybernetic image you are having fitted ( it will show just the one Cybernetic unless you are having multiple fitments ) . Next choose the agreed Doctor > Choose all the NPC Medical assistants.
7) You then get a final summary sheet of the procedure to shows Cybernetic chosen , costs , Doctors & Assistants. Submit if you are happy !! *NOTE* once submitted this is when you are charged for the procedure.
You will then be notified that your HP has been reduced to 1 and you are now classed as Unconscious , you will now have no access to your DM , Events or Inventories for the period of 24hrs. The countdown period will show the same as a Bacta Heal but called Cybernetic !!9) At this stage your character is rendered unplayable in Darkness for the period shown.
10) Once the procedure is complete and the 24hr period is over the system automatically loads you into a Bacta tank for another 8hrs , the only difference is you will now have full access to your DM's , events & inventory etc.
11) Once this procedure is complete you will again be back to full HP , and you can leave the station. The process is complete.
12) Final point , when you will come to re-fit your equipment you will notice the Cybernetic has gone from your fitment. Do not worry as it shows in your skills page. just continue to replace your fitments as you had them previously as the Cybernetic is an implant remember and does not now need a fitment slot.
13) Just double-check your skill points page , you will then see the Cybernetic is showing at Bottom right as an extra section called : Installed Cybernetic and the image to go with it. You will also see in the skills how your implant has affected your skill points.
